* Replace third_party/icu/public with third_party/icu/source in the include ↵jshin@chromium.org2013-07-181-5/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | directives. This is to move back icu headers in third_party/icu/public/{i18n,common}/unicode back to their upstream locations in third_party/icu/source/{i18n,common}/unicode. http://codereview.chromium.org/18836004 has is a CL to move ICU header files. Roll ICU to the version with the above ICU CL (http://crrev.com/211851 ). In addition to the global replacement of third_party/icu/public with third_party/icu/source, the top-level DEPS, DEPS in printing and chrome/ are tightened up. (the latter two were too permissive (it used to allow any header from third_party/icu). Besides, sync '-foo' list in ios/public/DEPS with '+foo' in the top-level DEPS and build/linux/unbundled/icu.gyp is updated. BUG=251433 TEST=Compile succeeds on all bots. checkdeps.py does not find any error. * WriteInto handles length_with_null values of 1 better.cbentzel@chromium.org2011-10-181-8/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In debug builds on VS2010, the old code triggered a debug assertion in xstring, since [0] was being accessed and the size of the array was 0. A |length_with_null| of 1 is considered a valid use of this function, so an alternate implementation is used which returns the data() pointer. BUG=None TEST=net_unittests --gtest_filter=*Digest* on debug on VS2010 works. * Pull in ICU 4.6jshin@chromium.org2011-02-241-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Adjust the expected result for the display name of es-419. It does not have 'Carribean Islands' any more in the English display name. Also, swap two parameters of EXPECTED_EQ so that the 1st param is 'expected' and the 2nd is 'actual' in two tests in l10n_util_unittest.cc In addition, change icu_string_conversions.cc to fix the failure of ICUStringConversionsTest.ConvertCodepageUTF8. The test uses WideToCodepage that calls u_strFromWCS. Where U_WCHAR_IS_UTF32 is defined, it calls u_strFromUTF32. On Mac, it's not defined because neither __STDC_ISO_10646__ nor _UCS4_ is defined. As a result, wcstombs is called, which doesn't work as we want it to. There are two ways to fix this: - Directly call u_strFromUTF32 on Mac/Linux. What this CL does. - Manually define U_WCHAR_IS_UTF32 in icu's pmac.h, which is done in http://codereview.chromium.org/6578003 We do both to be block wcs*mbs/mbs*wcs from being called in other parts of ICU when U_WCHAR_IS_UTF32 is not defined. BUG=61514 TEST=Build goes fine and tests pass. Review URL: http://codereview.chromium.org/6532030 git-svn-id: svn://svn.chromium.org/chrome/trunk/src@75854 0039d316-1c4b-4281-b951-d872f2087c98
* Add support for the extended header parameter syntax in Content-Disposition ↵jshin@chromium.org2010-11-031-0/+26
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | header (RFC 5987). It's not generic, but is only used for 'filename' param. The CL is originally by James Simonsen I reviewed at http://codereview.chromium.org/4254001/show I added a check for ASCIIness for RFC 5987 extended header and a few tests to NetUti*.GetFileNameFromCD (net_unittests) and I*.ConvertCo*Norma* (base_unittests). I also replaced '\uxxxx' notation with the corresponding UTF-8 byte sequence because Visual Studio does not understand it yet. * Clean up recent string conversion function changes, part 1: Remove ↵pkasting@chromium.org2009-11-101-88/+16
| | | | | | | | | | | | unnecessary code. Thanks to a change in escape.cc I can basically revert the ICU conversions back to what they used to be; I can also get rid of half the conversions immediately since they aren't used. This does not split out the "adjust" versions of the UTF conversions into their own header/implementation; that's coming in the next patch. * Fix various problems with inline autocomplete and URLs that change length ↵pkasting@chromium.org2009-11-071-76/+128
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | during fixup: * URLs with http auth info, which gets stripped * URLs with IDN hosts * URLs with escaped values that get unescaped In cases like these, we'd inline autocomplete from the wrong locations, highlight the wrong portions of the URL as matches, and sometimes DCHECK() in debug mode. The fix is to track how fixup affects the offsets into the URL we care about. Plumbing this required an enormous number of additions :( There is also a fix here to the URL Fixer Upper, which was obviously modified at some point in the past to use the Parsed components, but without updating the comments or some of the functionality to match. Since this isn't supposed to "fix up" things that aren't simple typos, I removed some code to "fix" bogus ports, which was causing bizarre effects when typing HTTP auth URLs ("http://foo:bar" would be fixed to "http://foo" and then matched for inline autocompletion, which was clearly wrong). This is tested incidentally by one of the new History URL Provider tests (which is how I discovered it).
