* browser: Remove unused v8 include from memory_purger.cctfarina@chromium.org2011-08-311-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | BUG=None TEST=None R=pkasting@chromium.org Review URL: http://codereview.chromium.org/7785022 git-svn-id: svn://svn.chromium.org/chrome/trunk/src@99024 0039d316-1c4b-4281-b951-d872f2087c98
* Prefix all IPC messages used by src\chrome with Chrome. For e.g ↵ananta@chromium.org2011-08-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ChromeViewMsg_, ChromeViewHostMsg, etc. This makes it easier to identify which messages are specific to content and chrome. This is a preparation CL for bug http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=87335 which requires IPC's to not span across content and chrome. When IPC's cross these boundaries they need to be handled as API calls. * Moving notification types which are chrome specific to a new header file ↵ananta@chromium.org2011-07-101-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | chrome_notification_types.h. This file lives in chrome\common. The chrome specific notifications start from NOTIFICATION_CONTENT_END which defines the end of the enum used by content to define notification types. The notificaton_type.h file in content\common has been renamed to content_notification_types.h BUG=76698 Review URL: http://codereview.chromium.org/7327007 git-svn-id: svn://svn.chromium.org/chrome/trunk/src@91972 0039d316-1c4b-4281-b951-d872f2087c98
* Separate memory purger from safe browsing.torne@chromium.org2011-07-071-10/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | The memory purger already sends a notification when it's purging memory; safe browsing can listen for this notification instead of the memory purger closing the safe browsing database itself. * Make no-tcmalloc (really, non-base/allocator) builds work again,dank@chromium.org2009-12-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | (i.e. this is a plain vanilla build used when layers like base/allocator are getting in the way of debugging) and make sure they use msvcrt rather than libcmt (libcmt is used to help shim malloc/free, but it gets in the way of valgrind doing the same thing). Sadly, this is now a gyp-time operation rather than a Configuration option. Had to remove hardcoded C prototype for _set_new_mode, as that caused link errors. Also add variables win_{release,debug}_{Optimization,RuntimeLibrary} to let the valgrind build override those settings. Fix calling convention on _set_new_mode to match the one in <new.h> BUG=none TEST=build with ~/.gyp/include.gypi set as described in comment in common.gypi, gclient runhooks, do release build, verify all exe's and dll's linked against msvcrt dll Review URL: http://codereview.chromium.org/455037 git-svn-id: svn://svn.chromium.org/chrome/trunk/src@33719 0039d316-1c4b-4281-b951-d872f2087c98

* Hook up the memory purger to all the relevant locations.pkasting@chromium.org2009-11-181-44/+139
| | | | | | | | | | This removes the two-state purge/reset code (no longer necessary), and the hooks to the power monitor (not ready to turn those on without more work and testing).
