* Make the windows_version.h functions threadsafe by using a singleton. Add ↵pkasting@chromium.org2011-04-071-1/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | accessors to the singleton for more values that various code wants, then convert almost everyone using OSVERSIONINFO or SYSTEM_INFO structs to calling these accessors. Declare an AtExitManager in the out-of-process test runner since it didn't have one and that breaks singleton-using code in the test executable (as opposed to in chrome.dll). A few other minor cleanups along the way (binding of "*", shorter code, etc.). Because I ran into problems with it while modifying gcapi.cc, I cleaned up our usage of strsafe.h a bit, so that files that don't need it don't include it and files that do use STRSAFE_NO_DEPRECATE instead of a modified #include order. * Move windows version-related stuff out of base/win_util and into ↵brettw@chromium.org2010-10-151-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | base/win/windows_version. Many files now only need to include this instead of all of win_util. Remove a bunch of unused code from base/win_util. There was a surprising amount. Replace the AppUserModel property key with the one from the SDK now that we use the Win7 SDK. Move GetLogonSessionOnlyDACL from win_util to ipc since it's only used in that one place. Handle the ripple effect in $PCHCOM by adding $CCFLAGS back to that command line. * Delete hammer's default settings of {CC,LINK}FLAGS_{DEBUG,OPTIMIZED} so they don't pollute our construction environments. * Update chrome config to link against v8 for opt, v8_g for dbg. * Get rid of fragile by-hand order of using_net.scons before other using_*.scons files.
