instantiated. This only causes an issue when we reinitialize the plugin when we receive a HTTP 200 response for a byte range request.
We were setting the load_manually flag to false as we would be handing off the data to the plugin. However Reader 7 puts up a message box in its NPP_New call indicating that the operation failed. It then returns an error which causes the renderer to crash as we dereference a NULL plugin delegate
pointer.
We also force an invalidate when the plugin is reinitialized as the page does not paint at times.
The other fix is to pass down the plugin mime type correctly to WebPluginImpl.

Create a couple new typedefs for porting work. Firstly,
gfx::NativeViewId is a handle to a platform specific widget in the
renderer process. For Windows, this is just a HWND as before. However,
in other platforms the ids used in the renderer process will be
something else.
CrossProcessEvent is the type of a HANDLE to a Windows event object
which is used across processes. Since we aren't going to support these
sorts of events on non-Windows platforms, this will have to go away at
some point. For now, however, this lets us build code without too many
ifdefs all over the place.

The IAT destructor (which will unpatch) now should run at AtExitManager shutdown, which is before we return from main(). It was a static constructor (bad), which registers an atexit() destructor which happens sometime during ExitProcess / LdrShutdown.
Also this removes some static constructors (the iat patchers, the throttle_queue, etc). I removed a StatsCounter completely, removing its static initializer.

This issue is caused by a recent WebKit merge that changes the behavior of the ScrollView::contentsToWindow() function.
To fix this issue, this change uses the SelectionController::absoluteCaretBounds() function instead of calling the ScrollView::contentsToWindow() function.

is now at parity with single process browsers in my testing.
This works by making painting of child windows asynchronous. The key is to send, not post, the custom message. This allows the redraw message to jump the queue and get dispatched before other queued [Windows, IPC] messages, which eliminates painting artifacts.
Now that painting is asynchronous, I had to take out the SWP_NOREDRAW flag to DeferWindowPos. While it's slightly faster without it, the visual aritfacts are noticable.

- Remove unneeded ref counting.
- Remove a static constructor (scoped_refptr).
- Remove a leak (extra_plugin_paths_).
This slightly changes the code, since PlatformInit could be called before Singleton, via AddExtraPluginPaths. I don't think this should be a problem.

current process's command line.
One explicit goal of this change is to *not* deal with the string/wstring issues at the API on POSIX; the functions are the same as before, which means they remain as broken as before. (I did try to fix the internals, though, so migrating the callers is now possible by adding platform-appropriate hooks.)

Memory tests run with plugins disabled. WebKit r39969 changed
Page::pluginData to return null in this case, so we need to check
for this null.
This still won't work until we rev our webkit to r39988 which fixes
another crash.

webkit_resources.grd.
This only adds support for <include> nodes. <message> nodes are forthcoming.
The design doc describing the format is here:
http://dev.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/linuxresourcesandlocalizedstrings
I hooked into the <release> tag because we need to generate an index at the beginning of the file. The index contains the position of all the resources, so we walk the file at that point.
This currently only handles <include> tags, but will be extended to handle <message> as well.
