* Revert "exynos-mem: Fix major security hole"Espen Fjellvær Olsen2013-01-091-13/+1
| | | | This reverts commit 9c1d0f487d28417858778d094f2eb98eb47ea2f7.
* exynos-mem: Fix major security holeAndrei F2012-12-201-1/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This fixes the exynos-mem device security hole. The driver allowed any user to access all of the device's lowmem through the provided mmap functionality. We create a small little framework collecting the actual CMA memory blocks that exist on the device; they are the root cause of the existence of this device driver. We white-list only the CMA memory spaces as parameters to the mmap function and deny access to any other memory space requests. We furthermore just allow access to the "s3c-fimc" memory block as this is seemingly the only space which upon access denial actually breaks functionality. | * genirq: replace irq_gc_ack() with {set,clr}_bit variants (fwd)Simon Guinot2011-07-071-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This fixes a regression introduced by e59347a "arm: orion: Use generic irq chip". Depending on the device, interrupts acknowledgement is done by setting or by clearing a dedicated register. Replace irq_gc_ack() with some {set,clr}_bit variants allows to handle both cases. Note that this patch affects the following SoCs: Davinci, Samsung and Orion. Except for this last, the change is minor: irq_gc_ack() is just renamed into irq_gc_ack_set_bit(). For the Orion SoCs, the edge GPIO interrupts support is currently broken. irq_gc_ack() try to acknowledge a such interrupt by setting the corresponding cause register bit. The Orion GPIO device expect the opposite. To fix this issue, the irq_gc_ack_clr_bit() variant is used. Tested on Network Space v2. * | ARM: S5P: Fix bug on init of PWMTimers for HRTimerSangbeom Kim2011-07-061-2/+2
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes following. <6>[ 0.000000] sched_clock: 32 bits at 33MHz, ... <6>[ 128.651309] Calibrating delay loop... There is a big jump. The reason is that PWM Timer which is for HRTimer was used before its initialization. So this patch changes its order and following is kernel boot log message after this. <6>[ 0.000000] sched_clock: 32 bits at 33MHz, ... <6>[ 0.000088] Calibrating delay loop... * ARM: EXYNOS4: Implement Clock gating for System MMUKyongHo Cho2011-03-151-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch includes the implementation of the clock gating for System MMU. Initially, all System MMUs are not asserted the system clock. Asserting the system clock to a System MMU is enabled only when s5p_sysmmu_enable() is called. Likewise, it is disabled only when s5p_sysmmu_disable() is called. Therefore, clock gating on System MMUs are still invisible to the outside of the System MMU driver. | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes all global data from common s5p gpio interrupt handler code. This enables to reuse this code on EXYNOS4 platform.
