* net: convert remaining non-symbolic return values in ndo_start_xmit() functionsPatrick McHardy2009-07-051-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch converts the remaining occurences of raw return values to their symbolic counterparts in ndo_start_xmit() functions that were missed by the previous automatic conversion. Additionally code that assumed the symbolic value of NETDEV_TX_OK to be zero is changed to explicitly use NETDEV_TX_OK. Signed-off-by: Patrick McHardy <kaber@trash.net> Signed-off-by: David S. * isdn: Fix missing ifdef in isdn_pppDaniele Venzano2009-01-261-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The following patch fixes a warning caused by a missing ifdef in isdn_ppp.c. A function was defined, but never used if CONFIG_IPPP_FILTER was not defined. The warning was: 'get_filter' defined but not used Patch is against 2.6.28.1 Signed-off-by: Daniele Venzano <venza@brownhat.org> Acked-by: Karsten Keil <kkeil@suse.de> Signed-off-by: David S. * [SK_BUFF]: Introduce skb_copy_from_linear_data{_offset}Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo2007-04-251-2/+5
| | | | | | | To clearly state the intent of copying from linear sk_buffs, _offset being a overly long variant but interesting for the sake of saving some bytes. Signed-off-by: Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo <acme@redhat.com>
* [SK_BUFF]: Introduce skb_reset_mac_header(skb)Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo2007-04-251-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | For the common, open coded 'skb->mac.raw = skb->data' operation, so that we can later turn skb->mac.raw into a offset, reducing the size of struct sk_buff in 64bit land while possibly keeping it as a pointer on 32bit. This one touches just the most simple case, next will handle the slightly more "complex" cases. Signed-off-by: Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo <acme@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: David S. | | | | | | | | | | | | | The function isdn_ppp_ccp_reset_alloc_state() sets ->timer.function and ->timer.data and later on calls add_timer() with no init_timer() ever done. Noted by Al Viro. * [PATCH] getting rid of all casts of k[cmz]alloc() callsRobert P. J. Day2006-12-131-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Run this: #!/bin/sh for f in $(grep -Erl "\([^\)]*\) *k[cmz]alloc" *) ; do echo "De-casting $f..." perl -pi -e "s/ ?= ?\([^\)]*\) *(k[cmz]alloc) *\(/ = \1\(/" $f done And then go through and reinstate those cases where code is casting pointers to non-pointers. And then drop a few hunks which conflicted with outstanding work. * [PATCH] ISDN: Avoid a potential NULL ptr deref in ipppJesper Juhl2006-12-081-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There's a potential problem in isdn_ppp.c::isdn_ppp_decompress(). dev_alloc_skb() may fail and return NULL. If it does we will be passing a NULL skb_out to ipc->decompress() and may also end up dereferencing a NULL pointer at *proto = isdn_ppp_strip_proto(skb_out); Correct this by testing 'skb_out' against NULL early and bail out. | | | | | | | | | | | Coverity found some static overruns in isdn_ppp.c (bug id #519) At several places slot is compared <0 and > ISDN_MAX_CHANNELS and then used to index ippp_table[ISDN_MAX_CHANNELS] A value of slot = ISDN_MAX_CHANNELS would run over the end of the array. * Linux-2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds2005-04-161-0/+3020
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
