* [media] rc: further key name standardizationJarod Wilson2011-05-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Use the newly introduced KEY_IMAGES where appropriate, and standardize on KEY_MEDIA for media center/application launcher button (such as the Windows logo key on the Windows Media Center Ed. remotes). * [media] rc: Name RC keymap tables as rc_map_tableMauro Carvalho Chehab2010-12-291-9/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remote keytables had different names all over the place. Part of the fault is due to a bad naming when rc subsystem was created, but there were lots of old names that were still here. Use a common standard for everything. Patch generated by this script: for i in `find drivers/staging -type f -name *.[ch]` `find include/media -type f -name *.[ch]` `find drivers/media -type f -name *.[ch]`; do sed s,ir_scancode,rc_map_table,g <$i >a && mv a $i; done for i in `find drivers/staging -type f -name *.[ch]` `find include/media -type f -name *.[ch]` `find drivers/media -type f -name *.[ch]`; do sed s,ir_codes_,rc_map_,g <$i >a && mv a $i; done for i in `find drivers/staging -type f -name *.[ch]` `find include/media -type f -name *.[ch]` `find drivers/media -type f -name *.[ch]`; do sed s,rc_key_map,rc_map_table,g <$i >a && mv a $i; done for i in `find drivers/staging -type f -name *.[ch]` `find include/media -type f -name *.[ch]` `find drivers/media -type f -name *.[ch]`; do sed s,rc_map_table_size,rc_map_size,g <$i >a && mv a $i; done Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* V4L/DVB: dvb-usb: prepare drivers for using rc-coreMauro Carvalho Chehab2010-08-021-4/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | This is a big patch, yet trivial. It just move the RC properties to a separate struct, in order to prepare the dvb-usb drivers to use rc-core. There's no change on the behavior of the drivers. With this change, it is possible to have both legacy and rc-core based code inside the dvb-usb-remote, allowing a gradual migration to rc-core, driver per driver. * V4L/DVB: dvb-usb: get rid of struct dvb_usb_rc_keyMauro Carvalho Chehab2010-08-021-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | dvb-usb has its own IR handle code. Now that we have a Remote Controller subsystem, we should start using it. So, remove this struct, in favor of the similar struct defined at the RC subsystem. This is a big, but trivial patch. It is a 3 line delect, plus lots of rename on several dvb-usb files. * V4L/DVB: rename all *_rc_keys to ir_codes_*_nec_tableMauro Carvalho Chehab2010-05-191-9/+9
| | | | | | | Several DVB drivers use a different name convention. As we're moving the keytables, we need to use the same convention on all places. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* V4L/DVB (12598): dvb-usb: store rc5 custom and data at the same fieldMauro Carvalho Chehab2009-09-121-48/+49
| | | | | | | | | | | | | In order to be closer to V4L IR implementation, it is needed to replace u8 custom, data to: u16 scan This allows using non-rc5 mappings, like the 8 bit keycodes used on older protocols. It will also allow future implementations of rc6 keystrokes when needed. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* V4L/DVB (7538): Adds selectable adapter numbers as per module optionJanne Grunau2008-04-241-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The adapter_nr module options can be used to allocate static adapter numbers on a driver level. It avoids problems with changing DVB apapter numbers after warm/cold boot or device unplugging and repluging. Each driver holds DVB_MAX_ADAPTER long array of the preferred order of adapter numbers. options dvb-usb-dib0700 adapter_nr=7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 would result in a reversed allocation of adapter numbers. With adapter_nr=2,5 it tries first to get adapter number 2 and 5. If both are already in use it will allocate the lowest free adapter number. * V4L/DVB (4956): [NOVA-T-USB2] Put remote-debugging in the right placeMario Rossi2006-12-271-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | This patch removes unnecessary (and misleading) debug output (it printed the values of the keys in the table up to the value of the key pressed). * V4L/DVB (4748): Fixed oops for Nova-T USB2Patrick Boettcher2006-10-141-1/+2
| | | | | | | | When using the remote control with the Nova-T USB there was an Oops because of the recent DVB-USB-Adapter change. Signed-off-by: Patrick Boettcher <pb@linuxtv.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@infradead.org>
* V4L/DVB (4643): Multi-input patch for DVB-USB devicePatrick Boettcher2006-10-031-17/+26
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch is the first commit of the Multiple Input Patch for the DVB-USB frame work. It changes the DVB-USB-device to be able to have more than one streaming input (e.g. multiple DVB-T sources) on one device. This is a necessary feature for the upcoming DiB7700 driven devices. * V4L/DVB (4463): New firmware for Nova-t-usb2Patrick Boettcher2006-09-261-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Thomas Rokamp and others are reporting: "I have now with success extracted a working firmware for the 93004 rev. C1A2." This patch increments the firmware version to 2. Signed-off-by: Patrick Boettcher <pb@linuxtv.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@infradead.org>

* [PATCH] dvb: usb/pci: correct syntax of driver name fieldsPatrick Boettcher2005-07-071-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Change the name-field of the pci_driver and usb_driver structs to the name of the module after compilation. It seems that this field is used in some places where special characters are not allowed. Thanks to Alan Halverson for finding this problem.
