* debug-pagealloc: add support for highmem pagesAkinobu Mita2011-10-311-34/+10
| | | | | | | | | | This adds support for highmem pages poisoning and verification to the debug-pagealloc feature for no-architecture support. * mm/debug-pagealloc.c: use memchr_invAkinobu Mita2011-10-311-5/+3
| | | | | | | | Use newly introduced memchr_inv() for page verification. Signed-off-by: Akinobu Mita <akinobu.mita@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
* mm/debug-pagealloc.c: use plain __ratelimit() instead of printk_ratelimit()Akinobu Mita2011-10-311-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | printk_ratelimit() should not be used, because it shares ratelimiting state with all other unrelated printk_ratelimit() callsites. * generic debug pageallocAkinobu Mita2009-04-011-0/+129
CONFIG_DEBUG_PAGEALLOC is now supported by x86, powerpc, sparc64, and s390. This patch implements it for the rest of the architectures by filling the pages with poison byte patterns after free_pages() and verifying the poison patterns before alloc_pages(). This generic one cannot detect invalid page accesses immediately but invalid read access may cause invalid dereference by poisoned memory and invalid write access can be detected after a long delay.
