* [NET] sem2mutex: net/Arjan van de Ven2006-03-201-7/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | Semaphore to mutex conversion. The conversion was generated via scripts, and the result was validated automatically via a script as well. * [IPCOMP6]: don't check vfree() argument for NULL.Jesper Juhl2006-03-201-2/+2
| | | | | | | | vfree does it's own NULL checking, so checking a pointer before handing it to vfree is pointless. Signed-off-by: Jesper Juhl <jesper.juhl@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* [NET]: Use NIP6_FMT in kernel.hJoe Perches2006-01-131-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are errors and inconsistency in the display of NIP6 strings. ie: net/ipv6/ip6_flowlabel.c There are errors and inconsistency in the display of NIPQUAD strings too. ie: net/netfilter/nf_conntrack_ftp.c This patch: adds NIP6_FMT to kernel.h changes all code to use NIP6_FMT fixes net/ipv6/ip6_flowlabel.c adds NIPQUAD_FMT to kernel.h fixes net/netfilter/nf_conntrack_ftp.c changes a few uses of "%u.%u.%u.%u" to NIPQUAD_FMT for symmetry to NIP6_FMT Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: David S. * [INET_SOCK]: Move struct inet_sock & helper functions to net/inet_sock.hArnaldo Carvalho de Melo2006-01-031-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | To help in reducing the number of include dependencies, several files were touched as they were getting needed headers indirectly for stuff they use. Thanks also to Alan Menegotto for pointing out that net/dccp/proto.c had linux/dccp.h include twice. Signed-off-by: Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo <acme@mandriva.com> Signed-off-by: David S. * [CRYPTO]: crypto_free_tfm() callers no longer need to check for NULLJesper Juhl2005-09-011-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since the patch to add a NULL short-circuit to crypto_free_tfm() went in, there's no longer any need for callers of that function to check for NULL. This patch removes the redundant NULL checks and also a few similar checks for NULL before calls to kfree() that I ran into while doing the crypto_free_tfm bits. I've succesfuly compile tested this patch, and a kernel with the patch applied boots and runs just fine. When I posted the patch to LKML (and other lists/people on Cc) it drew the following comments : J. Bruce Fields commented "I've no problem with the auth_gss or nfsv4 bits.--b." Sridhar Samudrala said "sctp change looks fine." Herbert Xu signed off on the patch. So, I guess this is ready to be dropped into -mm and eventually mainline. * [IPCOMP]: Fix false smp_processor_id warningHerbert Xu2005-08-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes a false-positive from debug_smp_processor_id(). The processor ID is only used to look up crypto_tfm objects. Any processor ID is acceptable here as long as it is one that is iterated on by for_each_cpu(). Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au> Signed-off-by: David S. * [IPSEC]: Add xfrm_init_stateHerbert Xu2005-06-201-7/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds xfrm_init_state which is simply a wrapper that calls xfrm_get_type and subsequently x->type->init_state. It also gets rid of the unused args argument. Abstracting it out allows us to add common initialisation code, e.g., to set family-specific flags. The add_time setting in xfrm_user.c was deleted because it's already set by xfrm_state_alloc. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
