* net: Make setsockopt() optlen be unsigned.David S. Miller2009-09-301-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | This provides safety against negative optlen at the type level instead of depending upon (sometimes non-trivial) checks against this sprinkled all over the the place, in each and every implementation. Based upon work done by Arjan van de Ven and feedback from Linus Torvalds. Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

* Phonet: Pipe End Point for Phonet Pipes protocolRémi Denis-Courmont2008-10-051-0/+908
This protocol provides some connection handling and negotiated congestion control. Nokia cellular modems use it for bulk transfers. It provides packet boundaries (hence SOCK_SEQPACKET). Congestion control is per packet rather per byte, so we do not re-use the generic socket memory accounting. Signed-off-by: Rémi Denis-Courmont <remi.denis-courmont@nokia.com> Signed-off-by: David S.
