TEST=go to chrome://tracing and see that HandleSwapBuffers is called 5 times in the GPU process for pixel_css3d.html
Add a white background whose style we change in order to trigger a swapBuffers in Webkit. It seems as if requestAnimationFrame is not enough to trigger a swapBuffers
