* PM/PCI: Update PCI power management documentationRafael J. Wysocki2010-05-181-266/+992
| | | | | | | | | | | I power management document, Documentation/power/pci.txt, is outdated and partially inaccurate. It also is missing some important information about the power management of PCI device. Rewrite it to make it more up to date and more complete. * PCI: remove useless pci driver methodDavid Brownell2007-07-111-37/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Remove pointless and never-called enable_wake() hook from pci_driver and from documentation. Evidently this was introduced in the 2.4.6 kernel, but there's no evidence it was ever called; and it was rarely implemented. | | | | | | | | | | This fixes u32 vs. pm_message_t confusion in documentation, and removes references to no-longer-existing (*save_state), too. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
