* V4L/DVB (12825): tm6000: I2C reading operations is not reliable on tm6000Mauro Carvalho Chehab2010-05-181-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | tm6000 sometimes can't read from i2c, but this is currently required for tuner-xc2028 to work. This patch adds an option to tuner-xc2028 to not rely on i2c reading. * V4L/DVB (12394): cx88: Disable xc3028 power management for Geniatech x8000Devin Heitmueller2009-08-131-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | A user discovered that the Geniatech x8000 encountered a regression when the xc3028 power management was introduced. The xc3028 never recovers after setting the powerdown register, which is probably because the xc3028 reset GPIO is not properly configured. Since I do not have access to the hardware and thus cannot determine the correct GPIO configuration, just disable xc3028 power management on this board, which fixes the regression. Thanks to user "ritec" for reporting the issue and testing the fix. * V4L/DVB (9055): tuner-xc2028: Do a better job selecting firmware typeMauro Carvalho Chehab2008-10-121-1/+7
| | | | | | | | | | Firmware selection is very tricky on this device. This patch do a better selection of the proper firmware type, by using a code to hint if the firmware to be loaded should be D2620 or D2633. It also allows overriding the hint at the control structure. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>

* V4L/DVB (8967): Use correct XC3028L firmware for AMD ATI TV Wonder 600Devin Heitmueller2008-10-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | The AMD ATI TV Wonder 600 has an XC3028L and *not* an XC3028, so we need to load the proper firmware to prevent the device from overheating. * V4L/DVB(7767): Move tuners to common/tunersMauro Carvalho Chehab2008-04-291-0/+63
There were several issues in the past, caused by the hybrid tuner design, since now, the same tuner can be used by drivers/media/dvb and drivers/media/video. Kconfig items were rearranged, to split V4L/DVB core from their drivers. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@infradead.org>
