* [media] dvb-usb-gp8psk: Fix tuner timeout (against git)Derek Kelly2010-10-211-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | This patches adjusts the tuner delay to be longer in response to several users experiencing tuner timeouts. This change fixes that problem and allows those users to be able to tune. * [media] dvb-usb-gp8psk: Fix driver nameDerek Kelly2010-10-211-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This patch updates the name of the dvb-usb-gp8psk driver from "Genpix 8psk-to-USB2 DVB-S" to "Genpix DVB-S". The old name doesn't reflect newer devices such as the Skywalker line which also user this driver. * V4L/DVB: Add FE_CAN_TURBO_FECKlaus Schmidinger2010-08-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some (North American) providers use a non-standard mode called "8psk turbo fec". Since there is no flag in the driver that would allow an application to determine whether a particular device can handle "turbo fec", the attached patch introduces FE_CAN_TURBO_FEC. Since there is no flag in the SI data that would indicate that a transponder uses "turbo fec", VDR will assume that all 8psk transponders on DVB-S use "turbo fec". * V4L/DVB (13578): [PATCH] fix genpix driver (no 8psk lock).Derek2009-12-161-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | Genpix is demodulating DVB-S-like signal with 8PSK modulation used) - this non-standard behaviour was broken by rejecting 8PSK in a standard DVB-S tune request. This problem is fixed by simply reverting back to the drivers original behavior with this patch. * V4L/DVB (9928): Convert GP8PSK module to use S2APIAlan Nisota2008-12-301-26/+114
| | | | | | | | | | This patch converts the gp8psk module to use the S2API. It pretends to be DVB-S2 capable in order to allow the various supported modulations (8PSK, QPSK-Turbo, etc), and keep software compatibility with the S2API patches for Mythtv and VDR. * V4L/DVB (6037): Updated GenPix USB driverAlan Nisota2007-10-091-33/+51
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are now 4 different versions of the GENPIX USB adapter. The newest 'Skywalker' models are fully self-contained, and need no additional hardware to be used. A very reliable DVB-S card even without using any of the alternate modulatations (which this kernel module does not currently support) The following patch adds support for all 4 versions of the genpix adapter (www.genpix-electronics.com). * V4L/DVB (4029): [PATCH] Genpix 8PSK->USB driver (Take 2)Alan Nisota2006-06-251-0/+272
This is a patch which includes support for the GENPIX 8PSK->USB module. The board supports QPSK, BPSK and 8PSK decoding (though I don't think it will be DVB-S2 compliant) With the following patch, the boad is equivalent to a budget card (no CA Module) The patch which adds 8psk suppot will follow, but is seperate, as it requires DVB-S2 support More info on the board can be found at www.genpix-electronics.com (and they host the requisite firmwares there as well) Signed off by: Alan Nisota <alannisota@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Patrick Boettcher <pb@linuxtv.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@infradead.org>
