* [IA64] Move include/asm-ia64 to arch/ia64/include/asmTony Luck2008-08-011-38/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | After moving the the include files there were a few clean-ups: 1) Some files used #include <asm-ia64/xyz.h>, changed to <asm/xyz.h> 2) Some comments alerted maintainers to look at various header files to make matching updates if certain code were to be changed. Updated these comments to use the new include paths. 3) Some header files mentioned their own names in initial comments. Just deleted these self references. * Add CONFIG_DEBUG_SG sg validationJens Axboe2007-10-221-0/+3
| | | | | | | Add a Kconfig entry which will toggle some sanity checks on the sg entry and tables. Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <jens.axboe@oracle.com>
* Change table chaining layoutJens Axboe2007-10-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Change the page member of the scatterlist structure to be an unsigned long, and encode more stuff in the lower bits: - Bits 0 and 1 zero: this is a normal sg entry. Next sg entry is located at sg + 1. - Bit 0 set: this is a chain entry, the next real entry is at ->page_link with the two low bits masked off. - Bit 1 set: this is the final entry in the sg entry. sg_next() will return NULL when passed such an entry. It's thus important that sg table users use the proper accessors to get and set the page member. Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <jens.axboe@oracle.com>
* IA64: sg chaining supportJens Axboe2007-10-161-0/+2
| | | | | | This updates the ia64 iommu/pci dma mappers to sg chaining. Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <jens.axboe@oracle.com>
* PCI: scatterlist.h needs types.hJean Delvare2007-05-021-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | Most architectures' scatterlist.h use the type dma_addr_t, but omit to include <asm/types.h> which defines it. This could lead to build failures, so let's add the missing includes. * [IA64] Move sg_dma_{len,address} from pci.h to scatterlist.hTony Luck2006-12-131-0/+3
| | | | | | | IA64 is in a tiny minority providing these defines in pci.h. Almost everyone else has them in scatterlist.h Signed-off-by: Tony Luck <tony.luck@intel.com>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
